EGEDER EGE TIBBİ CİHAZ ÜRETİCİ VE TEDARİKÇİLERİ DERNEĞİ

Aegean Medical Device Manufacturers and Suppliers Association (EGEDER) was established in 1991 in Izmir by the veterans of the industry as Turkey's first non-governmental organization in the medical field. Its core mission is to advocate for the common interests of the medical device sector before the public and legislative bodies, to develop solutions to industry challenges, and to contribute to the sector's growth in line with national interests. As a pioneer in spreading NGO awareness across Turkey through its regional success, EGEDER is one of the founding members of TÜMDEF. It maintains strategic collaborations with many institutions, including the Ministry of Health, the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO), and various universities. By leading many "firsts," such as the 1st National Medical Material Congress held in 2006, the association guides the sector in critical areas like domestic production strategies and ethical practices.
