Cytology Funnels

HistoPlus Cytology Funnels are designed to provide consistent cell deposition areas and high-quality cytology slide preparations for routine and advanced laboratory applications. For sample volumes up to 0.5 ml, the HistoPlus Single Cytology Funnel (with pre-attached white filter card and sealing cap) provides a thin, uniform layer of cells in a clearly defined 6 mm diameter (28 mm²) area on a microscope slide. The HistoPlus Double Cytology Funnel features a disposable sample chamber with white filter cards and enables two samples to be processed on a double-circled slide. It is particularly suitable for workflows such as IHC applications. The double funnel provides two cell deposition areas, each 6 mm in diameter (28 mm²), for two sample volumes up to 0.5 ml each. The HistoPlus Mega Funnel spreads the sample over a large rectangular deposition area of 22 × 14.75 mm (325 mm²). It supports a 6 ml sample volume. Strategically placed partitions prevent cell pooling, ensuring uniform cell deposition and excellent slide quality. The HistoPlus Mega Funnels are supplied with matching marked slides (AquaCyt Mega Cytology Slide) featuring an equal-sized deposition area.
