Compression atomizer, also known as pneumatic atomizer or pump atomizer inhaler, is a medical device that uses compressed air or gas to convert liquid drugs into tiny atomized particles for inhalation therapy. Its core working principle is to generate high-speed airflow through a built-in oil-free high-efficiency piston pump or compressor, which sprays the medicine onto a specific baffle, thereby intensifying the medicine into fine aerosol particles with a diameter typically between 0.5 to 6 microns (MMAD of about 4.0 microns). These tiny particles can enter the deep respiratory tract of patients directly with the airflow, achieving targeted drug delivery.
