Xi'an Sailong AM Technologies Co., Ltd, founded in 2013, is a high-tech enterprise held by Northwest Institute for Non-ferrous Metal Research. It specializes in R&D, production, marketing, and technical services of Selective Electron Beam Melting (SEBM) technologies and systems, Plasma Rotating Electrode Process (PREP) technologies and systems, and 3D printed complex metal components. In the medical field: Sailong has established cooperation with several medical device companies to develop and register orthopedic implants. The products involve standardized and personalized orthopedic application scenarios such as hip joints. knee joints, and spines. To meet mass production demands for raw samples of orthopedic implants, Sailong has established a titanium alloy implant production line with an annual production capacity of 50,000 pieces. Also, Sailong has assisted relevant medical institutions in completing over 200 porous tantalum clinical trials.
