AZCOMED Medikal Urunleri San. ve Tic. Its purpose; AZCOMED, which aims to meet the needle need of local and foreign syringe manufacturers in all lengths and sizes from 18G to 30G, has become ready for production in October 2023 in a closed area of 1,800m2, including 750m2 of which is a clean room, in Ergene District of Tekirdağ. It aims to have a capacity of up to 900 million per year by establishing moulds, machinery, and equipment with South Korean technology. To be able to expand when needed, the infrastructure establishment has been planned for 1.5 billion. Clean-Room - Production area; It is certified as ISO 14644-1-2015 ISO 8, EU GMP 2008 D, FS 209 1998 100.00 Class in ISO 1348520216 Standard. The products are; Compliance with ISO-13485 and Bio-Compatibility tests; It has Class I, Self-Declaration CE certificate according to Irritation and Sub-skin Reaction, Pyrogenicity, Sensitization, Cytotoxicity and Homolysis test results. Production; It is carried out completely, untouched by human beings, in a fully automatic system in accordance with the conditions and rules of GMP and ISO 90012015 and MDR 2017/745. Since all requirements have been met, MDR 2017/745 application has been made under ISO 7864-2016 Standard. In needle assembly, which is the most important process in needle production; with plasma surface preparation, sensitive fiber optic sensors, programmable cameras; Tests such as needle tip sharpness control, adhesive form and amount, inclined cannula and cap position, and tests such as cannula obstruction after siliconization are performed with precision and are validated. In addition, samples taken from each production series or lot are collected in the quality laboratory; methodical measurements, 600X microscope images and sensitive testing device; cap detachment, cannula detachment, artificial skin punching, and tissue sticking are checked by metal fatigue and cannula bending resistance tests and reported graphically.
