Bilintek was established in 2003 on the campus area of Bilkent University with the aim of meeting the software needs of public and private institutions in finance, insurance, risk management, document management, and geographic information systems. It commenced its operations for the first time within the Ankara CyberPark area. It has had the opportunity to provide services to companies such as LifeYield, Aetna, and CIGNA in the USA, as well as to public institutions in Turkey such as the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Especially in response to the demand for high-quality services from abroad, our team employs carefully selected and specialized senior software engineers, quality control engineers, graphic designers, analysts, and managers. Our team, based on customer-centric principles, has the flexibility in software development by utilizing various methodologies such as waterfall, agile, and test-driven development when necessary. In 2019, our company relocated its headquarters to Hacettepe Technopolis, continuing to provide software development and consultancy services from there. As of 2023, it has also begun medical device manufacturing activities.

Postural sway is a fundamental output of human balance control, encompassing the small and continuous movements required to maintain balance while standing. Accurate and reliable measurement of postural sway is crucial for assessing balance control and detecting changes over time. Biomechanically, balance involves keeping the center of mass as minimally displaced as possible over the support surface through postural sway. Our nervous system continually tracks the center of mass while standing and sends commands to our muscles to keep us supported on the support surface. Any disturbance in the center of mass, inadequate or erroneous data collection from the environment, misinterpretation of collected data, and muscles failure to respond appropriately to neural commands can disrupt balance. For assessing balance control, Balance and Force Platforms are widely used, involving the measurement of postural sway under different sensory conditions using force platforms and visual feedback. It has been demonstrated that this system is a reliable and accurate method for detecting changes in postural sway.
